Vancouver Island is an R.V.er's paradise. There are R.V. parks all along the Island Highway from Victoria at the south end to Port Hardy in the north. You can purchase or rent full size R.V.'s, motorhomes, campers and tent trailers in the major centre's on the Island. Service depots are also available at strategic locations along the highway. Most RV parks have basic campsites.
