Salmon Arm is a town of 16,000 and is located in the heart of the Shuswap recreation area, midway between Calgary and Vancouver. Salmon Arm is on the south shore of Shuswap Lake and has a mild climate. Entertainment is provided year round, including live theatre, hiking, water skiing and golfing in the summer and cross-country skiing, Snowmobiling and carnivals in the winter. 

Sicamous is a community of 4400 offering the wonderful recreational activities of the Shuswap district. The sandy beaches are safe and clean and the many hiking trails and cycling trails are prefect for your 'back to nature' adventure. Don't forget the great snowmobile trails and fabulous alpine terrain for skiing challenges. This is houseboat country (possibly the largest fleet you will ever see!) adding to your perfect family vacation spot. 

Sorrento - This historic town is named after the famous Italian city and is nestled on the shore of Shuswap Lake together with the communities of Notch Hill, Blind Bay, Balmoral and White Lake. Sorrento is on the Trans Canada Highway 28 kms west of Salmon Arm and as one has come to expect, offers the fabulous recreational activities common to the Shuswap area. Fishing, boating, skiing (water and cross-country), safe beaches, hiking and cycling. 

Chase has a population of 2,200 people and is located at the western end of Little Shuswap Lake, 56 km east of Kamloops and 53km west of Salmon Arm. Rockhounds will love this area as will all outdoor enthusiasts.

Enderby is the gateway to the Shuswap from the south, located on the banks of the Shuswap River, 20 minutes south of Salmon Arm. Enderby Cliffs, spectacular hiking, Mabel Lake fishing for salmon and trout; kayaking, canoeing, inner tubing on the Shuswap River.

Falkland is a rural community located on Highway 97. 10 lakes are with a 10 mile range. Visit the Falkland and District Heritage Park Museum and the Valley Museum with mini village artifacts and don't forget the Falkland Stampede takes place in May of each year.

In the North Shuswap you will find the communities of Lee Creek, Scotch Creek, Celista, Magna Bay, Anglemont, St Ives and Seymour Arm on the sunny south shore. This area has a population of 2600 and is the home of the famous Adams River Salmon run and Shuswap Lake Provincial Park. The lake is perfect for swimming, boating, water skiing and the beaches and parks are perfect settings for picnicking and camping. Snowmobiling is available in the winter.
