What is Jin Shin Do® Acupressure?

Jin Shin Do® Bodymind AcupressureTM is a unique synthesis of Japanese acupressure techniques, Chinese medical acupuncture theory, Taoist philosophy and Western psychology. It is effective for relaxation and nourishment.

Experience the release of tension and stress through the use of extraordinary vessels or ancient templates from traditional oriental theory. This is an holographic approach to integration of body, mind and spirit to insure emotional and physical well being. The study of Five Element Oriental Theory, as well as Western Psychotherapy, facilitates assessment, release, relaxation and restoration of the whole body.

Learn Fifty-five key acu-points over six days.Two handbooks and a chart are required..

Exploration begins with the Extraordinary Channels and in-depth experience of the Regulator and the Great Bridge. Knowledge of acupressure will expand with the introduction to the Chakras, The Great Central Channel, plus the Belt and Penetrating Channels.

These energy templates have a phenomenal effect on the physical, emotional, and energic bodies. Our own personal growth work is a key to understanding our body energy and emotional process.

Included are Taoist Yogic breathing and meditation techniques called the Eight Silken Movements or Pal Dan Gum, which facilitate our body management.

We will explore segmental and emotional releasing through the colour-coded chart and strange flows. Each student will give and receive one session per day.
