WELCOME TO THE SUNSHINE COAST - BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA

Welcome to Canada's Sunshine Coast.

davis bayThe thing will blow you away about the Lower Sunshine Coast is the amount of sub-communities that are sprinkled along Hwy. 101 from Port Mellon to Egmont. Walk a half a mile one way out of Sechelt and you're in Selma Park. A half mile the other direction and you've stumbled into West Sechelt. To get an idea of the number of unique neighbourhoods in this 86-kilometre stretch, let's go on a tour, starting at the south-East to the North-West into Earl's Cove Ferry Terminal. Port Mellon, Dogpatch, Langdale - (ferry terminal), Hopkins Landing, Granthams Landing, Gibsons Landing (AKA lower Gibsons).

Accommodations include hotels, motels, seaside resorts, bed and breakfasts, cabins and cottages, and vacation rental suites.

GIBSONS - Leaving Langdale and veering left on Hwy 101 past the tiny communities of Hopkins and Granthams Landings you’ll soon be in the hillside community of Gibsons.

Upper Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Wilson Creek, Davis Bay (home to some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world), Selma Park, Sechelt Indian Band.

SECHELT - The town of Sechelt is located on a narrow isthmus between the waters of Georgia Strait and the Sechelt Inlet, also known as the Inland Sea. Famous as the home of the progressive Sechelt Indian Band and the Annual Festival of the Written Arts, Sechelt is the geographical centre of the Lower Sunshine Coast.

PENDER HARBOUR, - is at the northern end of the Sechelt Peninsula. The small and unique neighbourhoods of Madeira Park, Kleindale, Garden Bay and Irvine’s Landing are collectively known as Pender Harbour but, technically, Pender Harbour is the body of water that their shores meet at. Try fidning it on a road-map and you probably won't! but trust us, it definately exists, and you don't need a passport to get there from any where in Canada!

Continue your journey to, Garden Bay, Irvine's Landing, Sakinaw Lake, Ruby Lake, Egmont and finally arriving at Earl's Cove (ferry terminal).
