ARCHITECTURAL WALKING TOURS OF VICTORIA
The Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC)
offers free, guided architectural walking tours of Victoria during
the summer months. For Victorians and visitors alike, the tours
share the history of the city through its architectural growth,
and the directions Victoria may take in the future. The tours operate
from July to September, Tuesdays through Saturdays. Two tours leave
each day, at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., from the Community Arts Council
gallery and office, in the courtyard of the Sussex Building, at
G6-1001 Douglas Street, Victoria. The tours are free to individuals.
Large groups may call 1-800-667-0753 for more information. The five
tours alternate, in order to feature different regions of the city
and themes within the built environment.
