Parks & Walks:

the park There are many parks and walks to take advantage of. Sendall Gardens, this 3.67 acre garden includes a tropical greenhouse and features unique plants, shrubs, trees and exotic birds. - Nicomekl River Floodplain, enjoy a great bike ride or a long walk along these meandering parkland trails, and enjoy the natural wetlands of regional significance. Langley City Park, this city park features Al Anderson Memorial Pool (outdoor pool), water park, 4 ball diamonds, 1 football field, 1 mini and 2 adult soccer fields, playground, outdoor lacrosse box, 4 horse shoe pits, the Langley Arts Centre and Community Music School, and 32 picnic tables (20 sheltered) with 2 BBQ grills. Aldergrove Lake Regional Park, this large treed park features trails, wide-open fields and a man-made lake that is a great summer destination for young families. Campbell Valley Regional Park, this 1322-acre nature park features hiking paths, horse riding trails, and cross-country equestrian jumping. Finally, Derby Reach Regional Park, site of the first Fort Langley, this park provides a historic walk through shaded trails and along the Fraser River.

Belmont Golf Course - Set amidst the tranquil serenity of British Columbia's Fraser Valley lies a hidden gem, Belmont Golf Course. Belmont plays to a par 70 at 6,416 yards from the championship blue tees, to as short as 4,951 yards from the gold tees. Belmont offers excellent year round course conditions and may be enjoyed by golfers of all levels of ability. Newlands golf and country club - You will appreciate the challenging 18-hole, par 72 CHAMPIONSHIP golf course. Since 1948 Newlands has provided golfers with an enjoyable golf experience. Enjoy a relaxing wine tour and let the world drift by. 5 wineries offer tours Domaine De Chaberton Estate Winery - this winery is located on 55 acres amongst the rolling hills of south Langley, the largest and oldest winery in the Fraser Valley. This winery had won several awards including the Lieutenant Governor General's 2006 Award of Excellence in British Columbia wines. A'very Fine Winery - is family owned and operated and offers a friendly and cozy atmosphere with wine tasting tours and a boutique. Glenugie Winery - Located in the beautiful Langley countryside, Glenugie is a family owned and operated estate winery. It is a family tradition to strive for perfection, which has carried over into the wine making process. The Fort Wine Company - The Fort Wine Co. has been receiving a lot of attention lately. langley centennial museum Enjoy a lazy stroll through one of the many museums, noticibly Fort Langley National Historic Site - The birthplace of BC, this pioneer fort features several heritage buildings and real life depictions of the lifestyle and activities in the early 1800s. Canadian Museum of Flight - Open year round, this museum houses over 25 aircraft both static and flying. The aircraft range from a WWII Handley Page Hampden to a T-33 Silverstar, and includes the only displayed Handley-Page Hampden in the world. and Langley Centennial Museum & National Exhibit Centre - This historic collection, spanning hundreds of years, includes over 1,200 archival photographs, 8,500 objects, and 500 works of art.
